Springthrough
The rapidly growing end-to-end technology firm, which works with clients to develop and implement mobile applications and technology solutions, needed a larger, more suitable space for its 50+ employees.
“Our old space did not allow for the collaboration and cooperation our team required,” said LeeAnne Williams, director of marketing at Springthrough. “We needed an open, creative space, and something that matched our company culture.”
The search for the new space began in November 2011. Williams and Mike Williams, the founder of Springthrough, met with First Companies’ real estate team and were quickly introduced to 62 Commerce, a 13,000 SF building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 62 Commerce had the appeal and character - edgy, urban, and raw - that Springthrough was targeting.
The property’s renovation began in the spring of 2012 and was move-in ready by October 2012. “Open, creative, and collaborative spaces were introduced to the historic building, including a unique meeting room that overlooks Commerce Avenue and two accessible kitchen and common areas for Springthrough colleagues. This could have been a downright exhausting and overwhelming project,” noted LeeAnne Williams. “But First Companies made it simple and effortless. This is a space our entire team can get excited about. It fits our needs and our personalities. It is perfect.”
“The First Companies team certainly went the extra mile with this project,” concluded Mike Williams. “Because that’s the type of company - and people - that they are. I could not be more pleased.”
