Jerry Baker — Chairman

Founder of First Companies in 1964, Jerry’s experience spans construction, brokerage, and management. Considered the visionary and pioneering spirit of First Companies, Jerry lead the way in I-1 development around the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in the late 1970’s to today. To date, Jerry has been involved in developing five business parks in the airport area, encompassing 415 acres. Stepping down from his role as President in 2004, Jerry transitioned the team’s leadership to his sons Jeff and Craig who hold the titles of President and Vice President respectively.
